After almost three years of consistent work, numerous fights I took Isaiah to Thailand to train for three months. Training there forces you to mature quickly—there’s nowhere to hide, and every session demands focus and discipline.

That environment suited him.

"What I’m most proud of isn’t just the fight—it’s how Isaiah got there"

He trusted the process, stayed disciplined through setbacks, and never stopped listening or learning. That ability to stay coachable, especially when things weren’t going his way early in his career, is what allowed him to compete at this level internationally.

His journey is proof that long-term development, patience, and the right support system matter.

Isaiah fought for the 2025 70 KG Hua Hin Title in Hua Hin, Thailand, in a five-round fight against a very experienced opponent from Spain.

We knew from the start this couldn’t be rushed.

Rounds 1 and 2 were intentionally steady. In Thailand, the later rounds are scored more heavily, so the plan was to read the fight early and clearly win the championship rounds.

Right from the opening exchanges, Isaiah established his jab and teep, which allowed him to control range and dictate the pace. That control was key.

Between rounds, my instructions stayed simple:

  • Use the teep to control the outside

  • When he steps in, throw the rear elbow

  • Stay balanced and composed

Isaiah listened, adjusted, and executed exactly as we had planned.

No fighter makes it alone. Isaiah is backed by this team because he consistently shows up and supports us without ego or selfishness. That kind of behavior sets the tone. A good team stays focused, respects one another, knows their role, and understands the value of gratitude. When support goes both ways and everyone stays on task, the environment stays solid—and that’s what allows a fighter to keep progressing inside and outside the ring.
